Since the end of 2015, the Archaeology of the Roman Provinces section, in collaboration with the internal graphics studio, has been testing the application of a high-resolution 3D scanner – an Artec “Space Spider”. Our focus is on the implementation of the 3D scan into a publication-ready illustration as a meaningful supplement to conventional methods.
